We were charged $24.10 for an alleged telephone call that was supposedly made from our residence to a residence in Diego Garcia (city), Iowa, on Sunday, July 17th at 10:36 P.M., lasting for 12 minutes. We have never had any contact with this company before, nor did we ever make this phone call.
On inquiry with our local phone provider, we found that we were originally charged by Navicomm on our phone bill, but since we have a charge block (where third party billers are not allowed to add charges onto your phone bill) on our account, our provider removed the charges from our phone bill. This caused Navicomm to send us a separate bill dated August 30.
We have repeatedly tried to contact this company regarding these charges, but have heard "All circuits are busy now" every time we call. We are going to try to get in touch with them more in the coming week, but after seeing what is here in the consumer complaintss, we will probably be seeking legal advice to have this matter corrected. I refuse to pay fees for services that I never sought or received.
