Chidolls Chihuahua Puppies Ms Drury Ms Amber Borassa
Sold me a puppy with Hydrocephalus 3 months ago. Told me to NEVER contact her again Stockton Manteca San Joaquin County

I purchased a puppy from this lady on June 2nd 2005
On June 3rd I tried to return puppy to her when my vet deemed him not fit for sale. He has hydrocephalus.
Breeder refused to take pup back.

On Jul 3rd one month after he arrived, pup had seizure due to pressure on the brain. Vet advised neurologist. Debra said if sonogram done and it proves Hydrocephalus, she would replace puppy. I agreed I would keep original puppy and take care of all of his medical bills.

Neuro vet and sonogram confirmed Hydrocephalus. Debra has all medical documentation. Sent via email and registered letter. She acknowledges receipt of such. Two days ago she told me to NEVER contact her again.

Her website is quite clear on how to find a reputable breeder. She has many tips and suggestions to help purchasers in their purchase. She raves about how good her contract is. She discusses breeders that sell AS IS pups.

I would like for her to read her own website. It really sounds like she is describing herself.

Puppy will be on medication for the rest of his life. He is NOT expected to live for very long. His seizure activity started at a very young age. He has gained little weight. His head is larger than the rest of his body. His eyes face in opposite directions. East/West
His head has an open fontanel (soft spot where there is no skull) that runs from the top of his head to halfway back. There are smaller cracks down the sides in the front of the ears. There are two smaller fontanels above his eyes. This is from the womb. The skull could not close properly due to the swelling from the water on his brain.

Any small accident can kill this puppy. Even an accident of his own making. Knocking his head on a piece of furniture or vigorous play can cause a seizure due to the added pressure. We have been advised to take great care when petting him.

This is a fatal congenital condition.in the three months that I have had him, I have spent 700.00 on tests and vet visits. This is related to his Hydrocephalus only.

In the next month or so the neuro vet is hoping to start him on medications. If they do not work there is a surgery that can be done. They could insert a shunt that will drain the fluids to his stomach so they can drain. This costs about 4000.00.

There is no guarantee that he would survive the surgery.
It has been recommended that because he is so tiny, we do not even consider this option.

I have repeatedly told Debra that I am willing to pay for his treatment. I have no idea what the costs will be to me.

In return I asked her to send me another puppy to replace this one. I hoped to have a companion. A dog that will be able to play. A pup that I can teach things to.

What would that cost her? NOTHING!!!
I take all of the chances. I pay all of the bills. I should have received a healthy pup in the first place. I have been put in this situation by Debra. I am not a rich person. I have no idea what has been thrust on me. I will take that chance.

She has washed her hands of this situation. As far as she is concerned this is my problem. Not hers.

Please help us... If there is anyone out there that can help us we are asking.

I have children. They are in love. I am in love. He is one of the most gorgeous little guys.

My children would like to have a puppy they can actually play with. This pup is not allowed to even sleep with them. I am so afraid he will get hurt.

Don't they deserve what they thought they were getting in the first place?

Please help..
