To every parent that has written a report on Strbizz models and ripoffs oops I mean talent, I thank you from the bottem of my heart. You saved me and my family.
We went today to the "audition" for my 4 year old son and 7 month old daughter. We were told it was for a new clothing line in Denver Colorado. When we were called back to the office by Mallette she asked my son to sit in the chair first so we could see what he looked like on camera. I just so happened to glance at the camera and noticed the thing wasn't even on! I said nothing because it was my first experience so I ignored the wierd feeling I had. She then sat my daughter in the chair and that was it. She handed me a paper and well you know the rest, told me to call back yada yada yada. I had a sneaky feeling about the whole thing BUT I called back anyway.
Whata ya know, my son was "chosen"! Not my seven month old baby girl who I had been approached about once before by a legit scout. Now my son is adorable but I still just didn't feel right. I couldn't figure out why I wasn't as excited as I should be about my son being picked. I made an appointment with Mallette (oh by the way same story she ended up calling me back) for the next day. Then I remebered the camera and well got to thinking...
So looked them up on the BBB website and no negative feedback there. I'm telling you it was an act of God the way I found this rip off website and read all or your heart breaking stories, I feel so bad for all of you and so angry that this man and his disgusting business is still managing to reel in hopeful parents like you and almost me. If it hadn't been for all of you I may have given them the last of my 401K I would have had to cash in to pay for the fee.
Oh, I will be going to the appointment still however. NO I wouldn't miss that for the world. See, when I show up with all of these reports and well maybe even say the media oh I don't know, I'm thinking blowing their little scam out of the water may be a great way to spend a Friday. Think they'll mind? May God bless each and everyone of you who has been scamed by this evil practice, may you have your money returned soon. Thank you again for saving me and tomorrow I'm going to try and return the favor.
