I hired Low Budget Movers on August 26 for a move across town in Orlando. The company also operates under the other names listed. To start, I was billed for 7 hours for two bedrooms, one living room, and some boxes because they were slow. They tried to overcharge me by $200, but I noticed the error and paid the correct amount. It cost $550 total.
Then, I realized while unpacking that they had stolen a Sony Play Station, games, dvds, a car amplifier and cross over.in total, roughly $1000 worth of merchandise. When I contacted the company, the ignorant, white trash manager informed me that in the contract (that I was only shown upon paying at the end of the day) that the company is not responsible for cash, jewelry, guns, or electronics. I guess this is the stuff their employees typically steal.
They are the most unprofessional organization I have ever dealt with and would urge everyone to stay away. For the money I saved per hour, I could have had a real company who charged a little more do it for a smaller total and have had all of my belongings given to me. To top it all off, I was nice enough to give the guys moving me some furniture I didn't need and they still fealt the need to steal from me.
The company has been of no help so I am filing a police report today and taking them to court. Please do not use this company for your own good!!!
