Hah! Just spend all my available credit and put in labor 10 hr / week and there is no risk. I'll be 'in like flynn'.
Clarke Wilson sold me a dealership for nutritional supplements under BMAX a subsidiary of e-commerce The day after he sold to me he quit and Ray Folland continued to broker my account including a $3000 non cancellable lease for credit card software.
Wilson claimed I could pay off debts totaling $28,000 five years. That means I would have grossed 11,600 per annum of which the Wholesaler got 50%. Other overhead costs added to the gross include year's bank internet costs and other charges.
That did not include my labor from other things or new advertising to bring in customers. Wilson claimed and the site still claims 45,000 dealerships. At a conservative estimateof $15,000 Folland's dealerships would gross 675,000, 000 per annum. But I had only $6000 in credit which the company induced me to spend on setup and training except for Two Hunded fifty dollars spent on a one-time elevation of the site on Internet servers.
Keeping in mind these businesses are exclusively Internet, the home site, BMAX is not even ranked. At around position 50 on Google, rankings go do wn from the 400,000th Then BMAX has a subsite but that subsite lists only 19 companies. For BMAX Nutrition to appear the customer already has to know the name.
None of these 19 dealers are ranked and where are the other 30,981 dealers? BMAX had not even invested enough in its own advertising to become visible on Google with any of the key words related to its products.
Ray Folland did not advise me of the issue of how much I should be willing to gamble on internet traffic boost programs or advertising in general. That is even after I had already taken the plunge with no customers after four months. The trainer kept advising me to go to look at different sites for free advertising but the advertising was only free for the initial post.
Basing on premium key words: A customer opens (looks at) a site in 1/1000 presentations
A dealer, if lucky, has an few early customers and nets $500 and then takes a chance and invests the minimum of $1000 in the best internet traffic boot program the dealer might might get a few enough customers to pay for a real advertising campaign multiplier, that includes premium research on key words. With such luck the dealer might be on the way to gross$ 1,000, 000 in two or three years. It is difficult to guess how much that dealer would have put out for all advertising but I remember reading SMBA (Small Business Administration) says something like $100,000 for the first year.
It might be true that BMAX turned over 45,000 dealerships. But I think BMAX made most of their money on the leased equipment that the lessor paid them for, setup money and payout to get out of the dealership, as well as the commission for steering the web trainer to me.
But BMAX knew how much I owed and how much credit I had left. They had me use all my credit in setup and training. They knew I had just enough for that. They even might have suggested at one point I borrow from my family.
Oh yes, part of the setup package included Corel Rudy's audio-video course on business.
But it is not about BMAX products. It is about how to make money in selling Advertising that is; selling advertising businesses!
