We moved about a month ago from Providence, to Fall River, MA. Our Uhaul truck broke down TWICE. One time was on a main road that caused a traffic jam. We spent hours that day sitting there waiting for a mechanic both times. We were paying labor help by the hour. We ended up having to cancel our reservations for plans we had that night and had to pay the movers for extra time. We got in very late.

The customer service at UHAUL is horrible. The most incompetent people Ive ever seen in my life. You sit on hold the majority of the time. If you are resolving a problem, they lie and say they will call you back, knowing they have no intention of doing so. Ive called them numerous times. If they at least would have said they would refund my money for the extra time I paid the movers, that would have been acceptable. Why should I pay full price plus extra for a truck that had a previous problem??? Common sense.

And Im not going to. Im going to dispute this with my credit card, the Better Business Bureau, Call for Action, the Attorney General. Im also going to find out who heads the regional office and their address. And I will call them every day until they resolve this, or until one of the other agencies does. Ive talked to the head of customer service, Melissa, and she is the incompetent liar Ive dealt with so far. So its time to go above her.

No one should ever use uhaul. They only stay in business because not enough people that know about the morons that work there and their bad policies.
