I had a VERY difficult time even getting my uhaul. I had put in my reservation but ended up having to call T&M surplus MYSELF to make sure they would get a uhaul by the next morning because the uhaul people never even contacted them. Then when I went to pick the uhaul up it wouldnt even start because lights had been left on due to the employees not properly checking the truck the night before. So then we had to wait two additional hours for them to find another 26' truck. During this time was when I was supposed to have my movers at the house. Because of them not having a truck ready, we had to go without movers. Then we were transfered to a different facility that had a truck. When we got there they said we had to wait because an in store customer wanted that truck and they needed to switch the information and told us to wait at home. We called an hour later because they had never contacted us and they said that they had the truck waiting for us the whole time. It would have been nice for them to tell us that rather than having us go home and wait for an additional hour. Once we went back there to pick the truck up we had to fill out the paperwork all over again for the 3rd time. The truck was not cleaned out at all. Then after we were in the process of moving I checked my credit card statement. It showed that uhaul had charged my credit card $312.88 when my bill was only $260. WHen I called they said to me "that isnt our problem our problem, check with your bank" after explained to them that it was a prepaid credit card so I didnt have a bank and that it was showing that UHAUL had issued that charge. So I had to wait 72 hours before before the money was refunded back to me which was extremely upsetting. And then when it came time to drop the uhaul off I was told that I would have to drive all the way into spokane eventhough I had CLEARLY stated my drop off location was to be cheney. I had to argue for 15 minutes with a very rude uhaul employee about dropping it off in cheney. She eventually gave me the go ahead. Needless to say, I am VERY disappointed in this uhaul experience and it ended up costing me than my troubles were worth. I WILL NOT be returning to uhaul for any other moving inquiries. I am certain that there is a more affordable moving solution that doesnt come with so much stress. I highly recommend that you train your personnel better and make sure things are better prepared because NO customer should have to experience what we went through this weekend.
