My husband ordered me a pair of boots for Christmas. He sent a check, #4112 on December4 for the full price of $16.90 (which included s/h). It was cancelled by J.D. Marvel Products, Inc. On December 19. We have never received the boots, so I e-mailed them in January or February (I can't remember). I received a post card on February 15th in the mail, from the company, telling me that their new catalog was being prepared now, and that if i hadn't received any previous merchandise, they had a new shipping date for me of February 25, on order # 77978. (they spelled my name wrong=forgot the 'e' in Kleinschmidt), but everything else on the card is correct.
It's a shame that a company can get away with such fraud. We thought we were getting a bargain with the boots we ordered, but instead have gotten ripped off! Being a Diabetic, the boots looked really easy to wear... Get on and off, and I really was looking forward to receiving them: (I certainly can buy another pair of boots. And I certainly think this 'fake' company should be punished for their gall! We sent honest, hardworking money to them and they stole it as far as my husband and are concerned.
