For Mother's Day 2003 I ordered flowers from the first website I found that was willing to deliver them on the Big Day. This was a Big Mistake. The flowers were not delivered.
The URL I used is not important because the guy who runs it is continuously creating new domain names and starting new "companies". At the end of this report I will discuss identifying and contacting this party.
As it turns out the flowers were not delivered because this guy is not a florist, just a guy that takes a lot of orders on the internet. He refunded my money and has been sending me spam ever since.
For the last two years each time a holiday approaches I start receiving junk e-mails from half a dozen floral websites that are all owned by the same guy that failed to deliver for me two years ago.
Obviously I am not going to order from any of this guy's websites again so I tried to get myself removed from his mailing lists. I was surprised to find that no matter which of his many addresses I sent a request to, the email was bounced back to me.
Additionally, he does not like to answer his phone or return calls, althought his voicemail message indicates that I have the right number.
I had previously thought that booking orders for flowers was a legitimate business.
His strategy is to own as many florist websites as possible to catch as much business as possible and he will accept any order without considering whether the order can be filled or not.
If you have already been ripped off by any of the following "businesses", then I have the owner's contact information for you. Note: This list of domain names is incomplete! The owner frequently makes new websites.
