Do not sign up for this scam!!! I signed up for a credit report that was to be a gift with the purchase of a seperate product. After doing so my card was charged $29.95 and later a fee of $20.85. When you call to question these charges you get an answering service that is not even connected with the company, so I began to send emails which also did me no good.
The company blocks your account so you can not go in and cancel within the alloted 5 day period. I eventually had to go to my bank and dispute all charges. I sent close to 30 emails and saved all my attempts to contact the company and the response I received.in my emails I let them know I was in the process of filing charges and my bank was also opening an investigation for fraud. I repeatedly resent the emails proving to them with dates that I, without success, had tried several times to cancel any type of membership within the 5 days.
Finally I sent an email to let them know that I had found a sight and convinced other victims to put in the time and money to pursue a lawsuit against them for fraud. Not long after I was refunded all the money they had taken from my account. Also I canceled my card so they could no longer take money from my account without authorization. *ps. I never really had a lawsuit but threatening it sure worked. And if you let the bank know that you are disputing a charge from a company you have never heard of they have to do so because they also can not get in contact with the My Perfect Credit.
