I recieved a few calls on my cell phone, about a credit card with a $2000 limit with 0% interest for three years and a $249 fee debited out of my account. I thought they were calling me because i recently applied for credit cards online, and had been denied, but the companies said they would refer me to companies that would. I also called my a bank in which i just opened a new account and they said that they do have companies that call you for credit card offers and that it was ok.
So i asked the man to call me a few days later, so i could check it out, but i forgot. He called and i gave him all my info, bank account number, social security, address, DOB, all my info thinking it was safe. Soon as i hung up i connected to the internet and thank god i found usacomplaints.com. I didnt find a website or anything good about the company. After i read a few reports i called my bank and had them put a freeze (no money in or no money out) on my account, until i can come in and change my account info. I just want to thank you all, i am disabled and recieve social security each month, i thought the credit card would be a blessing, but this websit has been an even bigger blessing. Thanks
