AT&T Wireless Cingular Gave me false information about cell phone share plans ripoff Nationwide

I was originally on the AT&T plan and didn't want to switch to Cingular for a few reasons:

1. I had 750 daytime minutes
2. I had 7 PM evenings
3. It works on the Rogers network in Canada which I require when moving home and traveling back.
4. I pay 9.99$ a month to have the unlimited Canada plan on it.
5. Cingular would cost me an additional 27$ a month for what I want.

Well I called to ask if my mom could be added on my line. I was told no problem, she would be added to my 7 PM evenings and we would share my 750 mins. She would pay 9.99$ for her line and 9.99$ for the North America plan.

When I called back exactly 1 week later the information was all wrong and I have been transferred, disconnected, and passed off to so many people. I even checked at the mall at the Cingular/AT&T store if I could do this. They called and checked into it and said no problem, plus I would get a flip phone due to the 2 year contract.

Well I have been on the phone for over 6 hours and I am ready to have an ulcer.

Cingular/AT&T agreed to allow my mom (which they told me a week ago this would be no problem) to hook onto my plan. They had her all hooked up to the AT&T and now they said I would loose the 750 mins and they would give me 400 mins 100 extra mins for my frustration.

Well today when I returned home there was an automated voice mail to call there was a problem. I called and it turns out there are no AT&T phones left or they are on back order. I asked to confirm my plan again. To my surprise I found out they said I would have to pay an additional 9.99$ a month and my nights are now at 9 PM. Which is all incorrect from what I received yesterday. I have the notes which I wrote down and I had confirmed three times with the sales associate on the other end and she said yes to the 7 PM evenings.

I now found out there is NO phone to give my mom (which the woman Angela (which I have her contact info and she isn't in to defend herself) told me yesterday they had phones) nor did they think they can switch me back to what I had in the first place (back to my original plan that is indicated above). I am ready to crack and I think I will have an ulcer by the time this is all done.

I feel Cingular/AT&T don't help their customers. The one woman told me that, if I don't like what I am hearing switch to another carrier. Another woman said she would document my file to say I am unhappy. Well if you had all this happen to you would you be happy too? I asked last week when I called in to document the 750 mins, the rate, and the 7 PM kick in time and NO ONE bothered to do this. Now they have me flagged as "unhappy" and think I am a pain in the butt.

This is just the extent of what happened. I can't even explain it all as there is so much that transpired over the last 24 hours and I am just about to blow my top off.

This has been the worst experience I can honetly said I have EVER went through and have no loyalty to Cingular/AT&T. All I have to say is bad things.
