Hello again, I believe Maria Duval put me on a mailing list for crackpot mail fraud companies.
I received a 5"x7" envelope the other day from the Nouveau Tech Society. They report that a group of millionaires of assorted occupations have taken an interest in me, and now want to share their secrets for success!
All I have to do is mail or fax them my confirmation and send $139.95 and they will send me a 1000 page manuscript outlining the secrets of success, riches, love, sex, mind control.
They specially chose me because I have 'it', like they do. No names appear anywhere in the paperwork or booklet of 7 Amazing Stories they arbitrarily sent me.
I have until Friday March 11 to respond. Then my "Cycle Two" window closes and I blew it if I did not respond.
And of course it's all to be kept a secret.
Can you imagine such nonsense being sent to anyone?
I am a fairly stable person, same job for 11.5 years, 2 children, married to same guy for 21 years.
Homeowner, taxpayer, churchgoer.
This sort of thing does not even rate evil. It's just stupid.
Who do they think they are to send me such trash and ask me for money?
Oh well, my Cycle Two window will be closed, lol, so according to them I won't be hearing from them again.
How much do you want to bet I will hear from them, probably saying "okay Kathy" (they address me by my first name repeatedly in the literature though I don't know them), "even though your Cycle Two window is closed, we want to give you another chance, because you are so awesome according to our secret profile, so you can still join us, and blablabla".
There is a neo tech website out there but it does not seem to be the same organization as this one.
