I had a Verizon cell phone with them back in June. After the first month, I started seeing all of these charges for calls being made that I had no clue about. I was the only one to use the phone, and I explained that to the customer service reps, not a single one would help me. Everyone I spoke to, including the supervisors, told me that I would have to pay the bill in full before they would investigate any dispute of calls and charges.
After 3 months, my total bill with them was well over $3000. I explained to them each and everytime that I called that I was disputing these bills, and everytime I did, they would inform me that I would have to pay the bill in full before disputing them. My question to them was "Now I have a 1 year contract, if I paid it in full and we follow through with the disputes, what happens to the money that I paid that you would owe me?" The answer I got back was that they would credit my account. I proceeded to inform them again that I only had a 1 year contract and what would happen to whatever was creditted to my account come the expiration of the contract. The customer service rep told me that I was pretty much SOL because the company would NOT refund any monies that I pay towards the account.
This has been ongoing for almost 3 years with no resolve in sight. Can someone give some clues as to what to do about this?
