I've received a Certificate of Award as a $400. Consolation prize from Sweepstakes Clearing House. It lists the cost of products prior to applying the $400. Dollar voucher. The remaining cost of the product is actually what the products are worth on the market. The computers are "not new", they are remanufactured. You can buy a brand new Compaq Presario computer at Wal-Mart for $498. Their price of the remanufactured computer is $699.95. The desktop computer is the same situation. The digital camera is 2 pixels. No one buys a new digital camera with only 2 pixel capability, so these must be old cameras that were left unsold in the warehouse. The watches are gold "plated" and the diamonds are chips, not worth $100. Dollars, let alone $469.95. All the products have a warranty, that was conveniently not included. They want you to mail a request for it, which of course couldn't be received by the void date of the voucher, which in my case is March 16th. If this is a consolation prize for a $10,000, 000. Giveaway, who won the $10,000, 000. Drawing? It's a shame people believe these promotions, but it's their money, and they convince themselves they're getting a deal.
