The Relationship Company charged me $1995 for Five (5) introductions. The introductions were supposed to be to quality individuals who met my specified criteria. That did not happen.
In the initial meeting, I provided a specific list of traits and qualities. I made clear to the company's representative my wishes. I also took a detailed personality test that was to be used in my introductions. The representative went so far as to tell me about specific gentlemen she knew would be eligible and available for me based on my initial profile. I never met anyone remotely similar to the men I was told about. I was also told success for me would be marriage to one of the introductions.
My preferences and profile were then ignored in the introductions that were made. When I complained about the company not using my list of traits, the company offered me more introductions and then proceeded to wait long periods of time between introductions or would send me introductions that were outside my stated preferences for age or education.
It became clear to me that the company should not have taken me on as a client. I was assured at the initial meeting that my success would be a match with an individual looking for marriage. That never happened. I believe would have never happened with any of the introductions provided or that the company could have provided. I was even treated rudely by one of the introductions.
The company told me they routinely turn down individuals who they believed would not be matched or who would not fit in their database.instead of politely telling me I had too many requirements or did not fit their profile, they took my $1995 after seeing my annual income. I received no benefit from it. I also found out that they charged the men I met different amounts than what I was charged.
I would recommend you think carefully before hiring this company. I was not happy with the communication or customer service. They did not follow through with what I was told at the initial meeting regarding timing of matches and the matching process.
Their response to my complaints has been to blame me for not matching up with an introduction rather than address the issue that the company should not have taken me on as a client. They have refused to refund any portion of my fees even though I offered a reasonable settlement amount.
They also oversold the product to me when I was in an emotional state of mind. I was at the point that I though I would never meet anyone. Feeling that way, I took the drastic step of paying someone this amount of money to introduce me to someone based on being told the introduction would have paid the same amount and be in the same position of looking for a partner. It was not true. If you use the company get their promises in writing and negotiate on the price you pay.
