Yesterday I was organizing my paperwork and found my moving paperwork from national moving network. I am glad I have found this website to file a comnplaint about this horrible company. I moved from rhode island to florida to last summer. I decided to call this company that it was advertise in the internet. My move was schedule on one day.
I waited all day long and was trying to find out the time the movers were coming over, well they never arrived. I contact the company and I was told they were coming the next day, (without even notice) which was a saturday. Again, i waited another long day and i was told that they were on there way, finally they arrived at 10:30 pm.
I couldn't beleive the time they arrive. At 10:30pm the guy offered me a insurance. I decided to pay an addional $850.00 for insurance because i was already feeling uncomfortable about the time. They two guys left my house at 3:30am in the morning, that's absolutly unheard.
My furniture got here to florida in terrible conditions. I was told by one of the movers that all my dinning room chairs were going to be wrapped at the main office. To my bad luck, when the movers opened the truck, all my belongins looked like trash, literaly trash, boxes were all smach, broken, scraches and everything was in terrible conditions not to mention, lots of items missing. The trash can truck looks in better condition than the way this company treated your belongins.
I try to contact the manager and he told me he would take care of the problem. He never call me and i was left in the dark because i never got thru to anybody in the company. The only address they gave me was just a p.O. Box. I wrote several e-mails and never got any answer.
I try to iniciated a claim but unfortunate wasn't ble to get any phone calls or any answer. Because i just moved here after a divorce i needed to get on my feet and didn't have money to seek an attorney. I paid an addional $850.00 for what? I have all my documentation in my hands and I do believe i deserve to fix all my broken, missing, scrach items.
I do not know how long do i have to file but this was a nightmare moving company. I totally understand the rest of the customers complaints. A company like this should not be in the market trying to rip off inocent and poor people like myself. The company also change the name and i wonder if is to cover themself.
To my experince i would never ever would refer this company by any means, as a matter of fact i would tell anybody my experience and also tell them the company' name. Thank you god for this web-site!!!
