While browsing the net before Christmas 2004 I came across an add for a wrinkle cream. I followed a link to the web site for Nexiderm-Sp. They offered a 10 day "free trial."
I was supposed to pay for shipping and if I was unhappy, I had to send the product back. I changed my mind about the product and decided to cancel. I clicked on a link to cancel my trial, and was asked several times if I was sure about cancelling. I answered that I was sure several different times and believed the situation was resolved. I never received anything from the company, so I believed my cancellation was complete.
Fast foward to today, 1-5 and while paying some bills, I noticed a charge of $99.90 to my account with Nexiderm's name and an 888 number by it. I was furious!
I decided to check my past two months statements only to find that there was a charge of $89.95 made at the end of November. Now I was really mad, so I called the company and tried to resolve the issue with them.
The person I got on the line was very rude and told me that I could not be refunded the $89.95 back because I did not send the free trial back. I explained to her that I never received the sample. She would not listen to me, she said that it was mailed, and I could only hope to get my $99.90 back IF I sent the product back. I again informed her that I had not received anything.
She proceeded to tell me it was mailed. I informed her that I would be contacting the BBB and I would like to have her name and some sort of other identification to give them, she refused the information.
I can not believe that this happened to me. I hope it does not happen to anyone else. Hopefully I will be able to get my money back. I just want everyone to know if you see any advertisements for Nexiderm.com, STAY AWAY. They are outright theives and do not care about their customers, or potential customers.
