I bought a HW100 washer/dryer combo from Living Direct online. I have had to service it several times even tho the appliance wasn't even 2 yrs old! Now right before the appliance turned "2" I'm getting a E12 error and Haier told me to call repair service. I have been telling them from day one this is a Lemon or defective machine and I want a refund or a new machine. Neither Living direct (they totally refuse to help) or Haier America will stand behind their products.

They did give one service call after the warranty in March but the machine just needed to be "reset"? So now 3-4 mos later it is malfunctioning again. I tried to reset the machine I call Haier and someone told me the E12 Error is a Electrical problem that causes the unit not to drain! For the record I have owned regular Washers and dryers and they went YEARS without any servicing!
This unit I paid $800. And would cost 1K on Amazon to replace right now hasn't worked right from the very beginning. There are many complaints about this unit and it is a bad design or something.
Now I have this non-working machine in my kitchen and have to go and pay to do laundry!
