I place my order on May 12th for a watch list price $525 on sale at $199 with Beyond The Rack (BTR). Great deal! I buy and expect delivery 2-3 weeks as stated on my order. Over the 5 weeks I receive regular updates stating that the shipment of the watch is delayed but expected over the next 1-2 weeks. Well. Now it's 7 weeks and no watch has been received. I call to follow up on the status and I'm told that the order has been cancelled and my money will be refunded over the next few days as their supplier could not fill the order.
That's BS. Completely unacceptable. The watch is still being manufactured and if you commit to a sale then you source it from another supplier. Likely the problem is the supplier priced it too low as many websites (Amazon included) carry the wathc for over $650.
I've purchased quite a few things from BTR and have been a real promoter of their business. Talked it up to many friends and work colleagues; but not anymore!
To say there are sorry for having my money for almost 2 months and not fullfilling the order BTR credits my account for $20...
I don;t need the $20. I just want the watch I purchased. Simple as that!
