I am writing to complain about the quality of service I received on 17th May.
The week before the appointment, I bought a living social voucher for three hot Brazilian or Hollywood waxes to be carried out at Farifax Beauty. Once, I received the coupon I called your Victoria branch and made the appointment for 17th May at 7pm.
On the day of the appointment, I arrived at 6.45 pm at the hair dresser. After waiting 45 minutes, a nice lady invited me to go into the room to start the waxing procedure. To my surprise, the lady did not seem to know what she was doing. The way she removed the strips was not all at once. Also, she applied -what seemed like hot wax - a centimetre thick and left it for at least a minute to dry. As you may know removing this type of wax dried is not only extremely painful but also impossible to remove it at once, which made everything worse. When the beauty assistant indicated to me that the procedure was finished, It was not even complete. At this stage, I couldn't bear any more pain so I avoided mentioning that some areas were still hairy. As a result of the procedure, my inner thigh skin was excessively irritated and had bruises all over it.
I do not know if the fault was due to faulty wax material or the lack of professionalism and skills of the person doing the procedure. However, I must insist on an immediate full refund for the whole voucher for the damage caused.
