I ordered a Leather Pittsburgh Steeler Jacket for Christmas with a cost of $295 and selected the additional charges for Rush UPS delivery. I was able to track the item using UPS tracking number provided by the Hometeams company as per my email request. This showed that I had some communications with the company.
I had selected a size Medium on the Hometeams web site. The size that arrived was a Large. I immediately attempted to contact the company for an exchange but found absolutely no contact or communications despite repeated attempts to remedy this well in advance of Christmas so that the purchased product could be given as a Christmas present. The communication with the company immediately disappeared when it came time to correct an error and help a customer receive the product desired.
At this point there was absolutely no response over a 7 day period when the previous response from the company had been within 12 hours. I have no way of exchanging an item worth several hundred dollars and ear marked for a special holiday gift leaving me to feel completely abandoned by the company. I am stuck with a Leather jacket that is too large for the gift recipient and no response from the company to ensure the exchange and delivery of the correct item.
