Ripoff Does Not Get People Jobs. Jobs plus, employment scam, airport jobs scam

Jobs Plus Inc, previously Jobs Plus LTD, has been featured on most of the local news channels in Virginia Beach and Norfolk, Virginia. They post ads in the classified promising to get you a job at the airport for $11.00 per hour or more. Then, they ask for a $100.00 non-refundable fee, before you get your job.

After paying them, they give you a book full of classified ads from the newspaper and tell you to choose the job you want. They tell you that because you paid them, you are guaranteed the job of your choice. Then, they cut you lose and tell you to go apply for the job you want.

Upon applying for the job you choose, the airport tells you that they have never been afiliated with Jobs Plus and that you just got ripped off and you don't get the job because you are not qualitied or the airport is over-employed.

Then, upon complaining to Jobs Plus about this, they tell you to read the very fine print on their large contract. It somewhere states that they list jobs and are not to be held accountable if you cn not get one. So in a nut-shell, you just paid $100.00 for a newspaper's classified ads section.

I had an added scam experience. They told me to "float a check" since I did not have the $100.00. Then, when I did not get he job, the check bounced and they attempted to sue me for bouncing a check and for floating a check, which it is very illegal to float a check if the money is not available in your checking account.

I also had to pay a $50.00 bounced check fee to them.

When my wife attempted to talk to them and tell them that we were newly weds with very little money and a baby ont he way and we'd hav eto talk to a lawyer if thy did not give our money back, they said this and we will never forget this and the tone they said it in, "Well, miss, don't make me laugh. Gee, I hope you baby does well!" (However, the tone the woman said this in, was of the deepest sarcasm, as if she wanted my wife to miscarriage.)

That is what they do, I suggest everyone to simply go to school and get any certifications or degrees needed and apply straight to employers and not some 3rd party agency.
