In 09/02 I also ordered the Bellagio bedroom set via the telephone from Crystal Brooks. I paid Hometown a total of $4,649 for the bedroom set. I paid for part of it via my credit card and a large lump sum was directly taken from my bank account. I was told by Crystal that I would be receiving my furniture no later than the middle of October. When the middle of October came and went without a call from the freight company that was supposed to deliver the furntiure, I became concerned. After repeated phone calls to Hometown and every time getting an answering machine, I knew I had been had. After two weeks I was able to get through to Crystal who assured me that my furniture would be there any day. WHAT A LIE! Hometown stole my money to use towards collatoral for a credit card. To this day I have not received one dime from Hometwon. I have filed charges againtst them through the Sherman, Texas police department for fraud. I will be lucky to ever see any money from this company.
