I went online and made a reservation for help unloading in Nov. 2003. I drove from Texas to Miami with my stuff. The moving help never showed up.
At the time Bruce Carter used pay pal. I called and spoke wih Allen. He said that no way showed up because the reservation was in my name and the payment was in my roommates name and the computer didn't "catch it" as paid. You can't make a reservation without paying.
He said that he could get a team out the next day and to call him back to confirm. I called back a told him that they wouldn't be needed because I had to have it done that day.
I checked the credit card statement to verify a credit for $205. It wasn't credited. I call Allen again and he said that he would have to mail me a check. He verified the address. I waited a week and never got a check. I spoke with Bruce and didn't get anywhere.
I phone calls and promises continued for months without repayment. Then they changed their phone number. I called their corporate offices and they said i had to be handed by Allen.
I looked them up on the BBB and they were one of the most reported companies in North Carolina. It's a year later and I still don't have my money.
