Recently, visited Ann and Hope store in Newington, CT. I was followed around the store by the manager as she asked me, four different times, if she could help me. After the first time, she called a "Code 9... All departments". I then asked where the restroom was. She escorted me, waited outside! And then "checked" the bathroom after I left. Becoming rather offended and irritated, I then asked the front cashier what a "Code 9" meant. His response was, "It's not important." The manager then approached me AGAIN and asked if she could help me. I then asked HER what a "Code 9" meant. Her response was, "Oh, someone needed help in the curtain section." I had been waiting outside for the store to open and there was only one other customer in the store... At the front register. I have written to the Ann and Hope Company directly and have received no response at all. Is this their company policy of customer service?
