My husband and I were visiting Mt. Ranier, WA. We needed to phone our children, but didn't have a cell signal in the mountain. There were no rates publised on the payphone, so we assumed a $5 or $6 call. Our call was less than 3 minutes. NCIC held $30 on our card and the final charge was $25. Really - 3 minutes??? What a ripoff... I can't believe these people continue to get away with these things. Reports go back to 07... Why is this okay?
