My vehicle was in an accident and deemed a total loss. My personal auto insurance made their payment within 1 week. I contacted the dealer regarding the extended warranty information, they issued a check the second week which left the remainder of the payment to be processed by our GAP Insurance. They had been giving me the run around from the 1st phone call. Requiring so much information from my personal insurance, the car dealer which I bought the car, my lender who I financed with as well as a notarized statement from my son who was the driver of the car. I provided ALL of the information they requested, only to find out after a month that my claim was denied. I have no idea why - they just said I needed to call the auto dealer who I purchased the car from and ask them to refund the amount I paid for GAP to cover the balance. They are nothing but a scam and a rip off! What a disappointment. I would NEVER refer them to anyone. They should be out out of business!!!!!!!!!
