Terrible experience following attempts to book a hot air balloon flight - Hot Air Ballooon Ride

My husband purchased a Groupon deal for us both to share a champagne hot air balloon flight in the Cotswolds last year. The deal was purchased in August. Our first booking in September was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. We then got married and were away on honeymoon in October only to return to find that the season would not recommence until March/April. We booked another flight in April which again was cancelled due to adverse weather conditions. Another attempt at booking in May was again thwarted by the weather. On our fourth attempt this month we have now been told that our voucher has expired and that we are required to pay £60 to extend the voucher privileges! We appreciate that this is a weather dependent activity, but given that there are no scheduled flights for half of the year and that we only purchased the deal nearing the end of the flying season, we feel that it is extremely unfair to now ask for this additional fee in order to extend the voucher. I have contacted the ballooning company directly to appeal this decision but they said that Groupon took the money and they are not obliged to extend our voucher free of charge. Is there any possibility that Groupon can help us to resolve this matter so that we can experince the deal that we have paid for?
