Actors Reps may seem to be a legitimate casting company, but in all reality, it is just a group of people trying to hustle you out of the best resource that you have, talent and time. I recently did a job for actors reps back in April. I was really surprised because most of the emails I would receive from them would be audience extra work, which was not paying gigs. I took the job, and expected to be compensated for my time, but now it has been over SIX MONTHS, and I still have not seen a check from the situation.
I"ve spoken with RICHARD BRANNAN, and he gives me the run around stating that the other party neglected their responsibilities and even suggested that I do my own leg work to retreive my check. It has been times when I have called and he has ducked my calls. Most of the time he would just tell me to call him back in the next hour or few minutes to give himself time to get away, and I would call and of course he would not anwser.
I would not suggest this company to anyone interested in background or commercial work. They are UNORGANIZED, UNETHICAL, and a bunch of SCAM ARTIST pinching for pennies to make a buck.
