I hired Afex DJ Entertainment to DJ my wedding. They quoted me a price that I was happy with and I paid the deposit. I also requested they do a specialized music mix, Jim was happy to do it and said he would do it at no charge, it was a service they offered. Two weeks before my wedding they sent over the sample mix for my approval. The mix was not what I had requested, so I asked for it to be redone. Jim informed me that he was going to charge me extra for the revision.
I told him that it was his mistake, he then informed me he was willing to take care of the problem. Jim called me back five minutes later and told me that he could not find a contract for me on file and he was not going to do my wedding. I had previously filled out the contract as well as paid him a deposit. He finally admitted he had a contract for my wedding and that the price quoted was not correct even though he imputed it on the contract as well as sent me email confirmation. He then told me if I was to keep his services it would cost more money.
