I am a frequent customer of Starship Novalties who visits pretty ofter to kill time o grab a movie or two. I have never had a problem with them other than looking at the 30 year old pierced blue haired cashier from time to time. Which is sometimes rude when you call her "ma'am".
The problem arose when I got bored one day and decided to look at all the smoking accessories. I was approached by a dude who looked like a junkie with no life standards and asked if he could help me with something. My response was " No thank you I'm just looking at the bongs" and immediately I was told to leave the store and if I were to ever come back I will be arrested for trespassing. I was like what the he*. What did I do wrong? I know these smoking accessories are meant for tobacco purposes, but why am I being told to leave for calling them what they are. Bongs... I wasn't corrected on the proper lingo to use when I am in the store looking at the BONGS. I was just told to leave..
If these expect to keep a customer base. There needs to be more professionalism with in its workforce. If someone calls these smoking accessories by the wrong name. You need to respond professionaly and politely. If they continue to misuse the proper terminology. Then ask them to leave..
