Reading a news paper ad for movie extras needed, with a phone number, led to calling that number for more information. The initial proccessing fee was about 7$ US. Then filling out a Profile/Resume at 'uscasting.com' was required as the next step. Upon finding other information during an internet search, the decision was made to NOT participate. The callback phone number to cancel involvement was False. An Email to the website 'uscasting.com' stating none participation and make no attempt to access my bank account, recieved no reply of any kind. Then my bank froze my account for suspicious activity and informed me that uscasting.com was the culprit. Attempting to transfer funds when I had stated no wish to be involved with them, never filled out the required form and had sent word to exclude, erase, delete any information about me.
I think this is an act of Fraud. It has to have broken some kind of law somewhere. My bank prevented the fund transfer and I have cancelled the card number used. The bank will have a new card to me in a few days. I warn all who read this to be aware this is not the only misleading company doing this.
