Prior to a trip to Las Vegas we purchased tickets online for Frank Caliendo at the Monte Carlo. Prior to our event we had our driver's license and the credit card we used to purchase the tickets and went to the box office only to find out that the order was never received from Ticketmaster. I went through my blackberry and there was no confirmation email. The Monte Carlo didn't have our name or credit card number anywhere in their system. Due to the fact that our tickets weren't in their system I assumed that the transaction never went through from Ticketmaster but I was able to repurchase the tickets for the same show except the seats were a little further back.inside the show the seats we were supposed to have were filled. The next morning I got an email from Ticketmaster asking me to rate the show we saw. I immediately called Ticketmaster and was basically told that it's not their problem that the tickets couldn't be found at the Monte Carlo and that they were still charging my credit card. We are disputing the charge on the credit card as the services were not delivered.
The Monte Carlo indicated that sometimes there is an issue with Ticketmaster's system and the seats are never actually held. Not sure why I am responsible for paying for tickets when two companies can't get their system worked out. Buyer Beware. NEVER select the option that you will pick up tickets at will call. Get the actual tickets or purchase the tickets directly from the venue. Ticketmaster needs to get their act together and own the problem when a customer calls.
