I had recieved an e-mail from Mountain Area Communications saying, "congratulation you are the winner of our $1000 shopping spree." So I clicked on the link provided in the e-mail and it told me how to redeem my "gift" and asked for my mailing address so they could send it to me. Well, when they mailed it to me it had a billing slip of $49 a month for 20 months! I called them up asked what I was billed for and the lady said that in order to get the shopping spree you have to subscribe to these magazines and what not. I told her ok, but asked it what happens if I decide to cancle or what, and she said that if at some poin I decided I couldn't make the payments anymore do to finances I could cancle at anytime. However, when I tried to cancle it she said that they preorder everything in for me and since they do that I would have to pay the remaining amount of like $600 somthing up front! Thats not cancleing if you ask me, because I would be paying in full for somthing I'm not even getting. I need to get out of this, preferably without breaking the bank.
