We purchased four front row seats to the Richard Cheese concert on the first day they were offered for sale. The original date of the show was June 13, but it was changed to May 16th.
These tickets were marked row 1, with assigned seat numbers in sequential order. They were in the first ten digits.
The show was advertised as limited front row seating, general admission for everyone else.
When we arrived, we discovered the "front row" was actually five rows, and they were randomly assigning people seats. So our $75 a piece front row, assigned seat tickets landed us in the fourth row with our party not even sitting together.
We were not late to the show. We arrived well before the band started and many people were arriving after us.
When we complained, they said "too bad".
We paid for something they refused to deliver, and worse, the security guards threatened to kick us out if we tried to take the seats in the front row with our numbers on them.
How is something like this legal?
