My partner and I purchased tickets from bookmetickets.com after following links from Ebay. We received a confirmation email saying that our tickets would be released 3-7 days before the concert.
On checking our bank statement the payment had been made to a bank in Budapest Hungary. This immediately caused suspicion and we searched for reports about the company on the internet. There were endless reports of people being scammed by this company. The majority had not received tickets and many had been overcharged during currency conversion. The few who did receive tickets, after applying considerable pressure to the company, only received standing tickets, even when seats had been booked. This is presumably because it is easier to produce counterfeit standing tickets.
Unfortunately there is little that we can do until the concert in May, which of course, we do not expect to receive tickets or renumeration for. We will pursue this matter but in the meantime wanted to warn others about this site.
Please dont just take our word for it. Do some research on the internet. There are endless reports about the scams carried out by this company.
