Last year, we hosted a high profile event in Scottsdale and hired A Casino Event. They promised us young, fun, extroverted dealers. However, the staff that showed up was from their dealer school. (ABC Bartend and Deal.) A lot of the staff didn't have a clue how to deal cards. And the few that did, had no personalities or were rude to our guests. The equipment arrived late which cost us valuable resources to put everything into place prior to the guests arriving. Unfortunately, all of the on-time guests saw us setting up the tables and we looked extremely unorganized.
The party planners and hosts looked bad for hiring this awful company.
The next day, A Casino Event had the audacity to charge our credit card for 4 more casino dealers that were not there! We disputed it with our credit cards, but A Casino Event of Phoenix sent in bogus time cards.
They are the cheapest company in town for a reason. Their costs are subsidized by the student enrollment fees. I wish that my employees paid me to be put on the schedule.
If you want your event staffed by incompetent student dealers and your equipment to arrive late, this is the perfect company. Otherwise, use another company that at least hires their dealers AFTER they graduated from a dealing school or have experience from the casinos and other events.
