If you are considering getting a "craps lesson" from Mr. Robinson and his business partner, Margaret Burns, please consider the following when contacting them for the lesson.
Ask them if you meet Mr. Robinson for a lesson (which will require $1600 for 10 shots at "catching a roll") if you can have him play the $1600 on YOUR player's club card and NOT HIS! You see, Mr. Robinson NEVER plays his own money alongside you at the table as you play your $1600 and teach you his method of pressing inside numbers. It's much easier for him to risk YOUR money as well as turn it in on HIS player's club card garnering him plenty of comps that he uses to stay for free to teach the NEXT person hoping to "catch a roll" like fisherman tell tales of "the big one they landed, but it got away".
He has even enjoyed offers from The Golden Nugget for a $500 debit card or $400 in players chips based on his playing someone else's money! If that person lost their money when they "got their lesson" because the ever elusive long roll didn't materialize, THEY should at least receive the compensation of a $500 debit card from The Golden Nugget. Do you agree?
By all means, ask if Mr. Robinson will play his own money alongside you as he coaches you when and what to collect/play. It won't happen. He's fond of saying that if you lose, he does, too. It isn't entirely true. He GAINS YOUR COMPS!
I suggest you consider searching the internet about "pressing craps bets" for FREE before you purchase from Mr. Robinson and Ms. Burns just because ONE person got lucky on camera however long ago it was. I certainly "learned my lesson".
