I was shopping in a mall with my 12 year old daughter. As we were walking along we were quickly in the view of a young lady who told my daughter how beautiful she was. She told us she worked for a talent studio who was looking for fresh new faces for print ad models. As anyone else would do, I filled out the information card that she handed me. Little did I know that we were going to be their next victim.
They called my house so often-I agreed to make an appointment. Boy, was everyone on my side then. They called to give me personal directions, and insisted that my daughter got a high rating - (from the girl in the mall). With my daughter having her hopes up-I took her for that appointment. The DIRECTOR quickly greeted her and gave her more compliments than you get in a lifetime, all in a matter of minutes.
Suzanne spoke so quickly leaving us no time to make a decision. She convinced us my daughter can make it to the top. We first had to purchase comp cards from them. I told her I could not afford the prices (outrageous) but she insisted she will work with me. Taking the only money I had on me as a deposit-she snatched it and before I could blink she had a paper in front of me telling me I had to initial for her photo shoot because she is a minor. And yes-without thinking I did it!
When I got home, I researched and found they are scam artists!!! Lesson learned "Research BEFORE not after the fact!!!
