I was shocked to have actually found this website! I had an encounter with Ron Eckstine as well that I am now thankful turned out ok. Ron is extremely unpredictable and one should consider this when using him for any of his "so-called" services. I am a bit different than the women listed here. I did not contact him to become a singer or actress, he contacted me about writing lyrics for him.
I knew something was fishy when I arrived to his tiny, unprofessional studio apartment. He greeted me in a robe (very unprofessional) and had no interest in even looking at my lyrics, he wanted me to sing for him, which was strange because I do not sing, he knew that prior to us meeting.
I would like to add in a feable attempt to throw credit his way. He is indeed, the son of Billy Eckstine, probably the only true statement he has made. Also it is up to women to be safe. I was stupid for going to meet a man I did not know, just to get lyrics seen. Women need to hold themselves liable and not yell foul play against a possible predator, if in fact they did not act in a safe manner. Do not meet with someone you do not know, alone. If they tell you to come alone, which Ron did to me, don't go!
Just like Ron, there are many, many sick people out there and in this industry they are on jus about every corner... Be careful and wise ladies. Also if you feel you were threatened or abused, alway, always file a police report, not just a website report.
