Cindy and the other writer after her is 1000% correct about Fleming's. I have noticed a big change in most of the bars and clubs in Astoria, NY. There are alot of haters at Fleming's that only like you if you are dirt ass poor and ugly as sin. I wonder what went wrong here. Do hey really want to be hated that much? Could their actions be a result of hopes that others will talk about them and they can get some negative publicity?
I don't think so. On top of being the nastiest, stinkest "establishment" on the face of the earth, their staff likes to start fights with their customers. I have seen it with my own eyes. I have heard that some undercovers have been scoping the place out. It is only a matter of time folks and you can say Adios to this "bar." It is ashame because this use to be a safe place to chill out at. Too bad they sell drugs and have male bartenders that love to hit women. Isn't that some sad mess?
P.S. - I have seen Leo (very large Italian/Irish bartender, 6'3" with a weight) of approximately 250 pound hit a petite female because she wanted to retrieve her belongings before leaving the bar. Leo is a straght up thug-wannabe and coward to the max. He needs to pick on someone his own size.
