Bad billing practices, Charging for movies without notification Ripoff Internet

Netflix charged my bank account for 3 movies that they did not receive after I had returned them. There was no notification that they had not been received. There was no notification that these charges were going to be taken from my account.

I had cancelled my account and was given 7 days to send back the three remaining movies.in reality, I had paid for a full month in advance and was still technically 'pre-paid' for another 14 days service. However, I did return the movies via mail as always. There was no acknowledgement of their return, but I wasn't alarmed by that since my account had been terminated. I checked today in my bank account and found that I had been charged $21.10 for each of the movies.

I could not find any way to contact them by phone to speak with a live representative and even finding an email contact was not an easy thing to do on their site. It appears that they choose to make it very difficult to resolve problems with them.

I have sent them an email and received a 'canned' response promising to have a "live" person get back in touch with me, but so far this has not occurred.
