I am a small vendor who scheduled to participate in the ExposWest Home show at the Cow Palace in San Francisco, CA. The show was scheduled for Nov 19-21. The show was cancelled the day before the show because of a lack of labor contract. No notification was given and all vendors found out at the Cow Palace. I had already spent additional money and wasted time in transportation to move my product to the Cow Palace.
All vendors were given a paper saying that they we would be contacted within two weeks by ExposWest. To date (1/10/05), I have received no notification from ExposWest. I have contacted them several times both by email and phone with no response. This is the worse experience with a business ever. I don't understand how ExposWest plans to stay in business if they don't treat their customers right.
Anyways, I wanted to create this thread to have vendors beware of this company. I think they are a scam, but until this point I have been giving them the benefit of the doubt. My patience has run out and all I want is my money back. I really don't know what my recourse is to get my money back. I have paid for a service and in my view ExposWest is in breech of contract and did not perform the service.
