New double glazing fitted with bay window and front door paid Wullie Skilling cash he didn't replace the wood inside my windows except for the bay window. I asked for a guarantee but he never brought one. Then the problems started when it rains heavy the water comes in from the top runs in and lies on my window sill the silicone runs down my glass there is draughts everywhere, blinds move back and forth, gaps in the outside frame not enough silicone, feel I'm sitting outside, it's so noisy, bathroom, kitchen window if there is a slight wind all you hear is a constant howl, if its damp my windows are soaking inside and out all steamed up, said to him about that and he said his was like that. My last windows certainly weren't, my chrome handles on my outside of my door are so badly corroded. Went to trading standards about him they contacted him but he never replied back to me, trading standards said they couldn't help me because I didn't get a receipt, I was to go and get an independent double glazing firm to come out and assess my windows, which would cost me another £100 and Wullie Skilling has now finished doing double glazing so if I took him to court I'd be the loser, is there anything else I can do? I'm at my wits end, paid someone else to come and reseal my silicone but that hasn't helped, feel I've been ripped off because I'm a single woman on my own
