What started out with a good replacement of a hotwater heater turned ugly. First, there was a mistake on my end, with that I accidently paid them with a check I no longer had a bank with. I'm not sure how I even still had the checkbook, but it happened. Completely unintentional, as I had plenty of money to pay for the installation. When The company called to inform me the check had been returned, the lady was extremely rude.in the end I asked her to send me a bill, and I hung up. A week later, I had not recieved a bill, however they called me again to tell me they were turning me into collections. I told them I had the money to pay, and wasn't a problem, but they REQURED me to give them my payment information over the phone. Again, the woman was extremely rude. Not allowing me to talk I told them I would pay them, but I could not give them my information over the phone. That day, I sent payment, including payment for the return check via my Banks online bill pay, and they sent the check back. So, I ended up having to pay an additional $100 to the county attorney.
