I bought a couch in November from Art Van Clearance Center and now it is February and the couch is breaking down already. I weigh 160lbs and my son weighs 120lbs so there is no way this couch should be breaking down already. I called Art Van to see what they will do about this and the customer service person was rude and said I did not purchase the warranty so they cannot do anything about it. I ask to speak to a manager and got the same response from him. I paid $650 for a couch that was originally $1300 and this is just poor quality and I cannot believe that they will not do anything about this. I did not know that there was no warranty on this if I did not but the warranty. I was under the impression that this was an extended warranty the ONLY warranty this couch was going to have. I have bought over $5000 worth of furniture from them in that past and this is the way they treat their returning customers.
