Andersen sliding door won't close properly - Andersen PermaShield 200-series sliding patio doo

I purchased an Andersen Permashield 200 sliding door that will not close all the way unless it is latched. Andersen employees assured me that 'this happens sometimes' but that the problem would go away in 1-3 months if I kept the door closed and latched for 1-3 months. Well, it's been 3 months and the door STILL WON'T CLOSE PROPERLY! I am VERY disappointed. I thought I was buying a quality product, but it's clear to me that Andersen is producing a defective door. (How many people would buy the door if they knew in advance that the door will not close properly for 3 months or more??? And the energy efficiency rating is deceptive marketing, because a door that doesn't close when you walk outside has an energy efficiency rating of ZERO!!!
