I purchased a Andersen - EMCO storm door last fall from Home Depot. It is the self storing door with slideaway screen. A very attractive door I must admit. As winter came on I noticed that there was a lot of cold air coming in my front door that in the 27 years I have lived in my home I never had with my other storm doors. The storm door does not fit tight! I called the telephone number in the Installation Guide book and talked a very nice person and told him the problerm I was having with the door. He ask me which side of the house my door was mounted on. I told him it was on the north side. To that answer he said, well if it was mounted on the south side you probably wouldn't have that problem. Duh In Missouri the wind blows from every which way. I got no where with this person on any thing I said to him about the problem so I taped the door off for the winter. This spring when I took the tape off in order to use the door again and pulled the screen down I found that it was loose on the left side as well as the whole door seems loose. So now I am faced with buying another storm door before winter comes and keeping the screen up through the summer and dumping this piece of junk. What a RIP OFF!
