I recently moved into my house and received a notice from Reliance Home Comfort that they are charging me around $100 for account setup fees. I called them and told them I wanted the tank gone at which point the offer the tank to be purchased for $240. Turns out the tank is 12 years old and full of settlement. It would take three times as long as the new tank to heat up. (I am pretty sure the fuel costs are higher than the rental costs, geez where is the value there???). Called them up on July 26 to come pick up their tank which ended up being a phone tag situation so I have decided to charge them storage fees.
